Kalkwasser replaces alkalinity and calcium through your top-off. Enter your tank, your daily alkalinity consumption, and your evaporation, and get the pump rate in mL per hour. If evaporation cannot carry enough kalk, the shortfall to cover with two part is shown.

How it works
Saturated kalkwasser carries about 40.8 meq/L of alkalinity: 1 mL raises 100 L by roughly 0.00114 dKH.
Daily kalk volume = consumption / 0.00114 x (liters / 100). Pump rate spreads it over 24 hours, which also steadies pH.
Kalk rides on evaporation. If the tank evaporates less than the required volume, kalk alone cannot hold alkalinity; cover the rest with a two part or All-For-Reef.
Don't know your consumption? Log two tests in the tracker and ReefMath measures it.
Safety
Kalkwasser is high pH (12.5). Drip into high flow, never all at once, and keep the daily alkalinity rise under 1.4 dKH.
Dose at night to offset the daily pH swing, or 24/7 for maximum stability.
